We are thrilled that two of our productions have received nominations at this year’s 71st Prime Time Emmy Awards. The Flood and Savage Kingdom, co-produced with the Natural History Film Unit for the National Geographic Channel, have both been nominated for their incredible narration. Angela Bassett (The Flood) and Charles Dance (Savage Kingdom) will compete against David Attenborough and others within the narration category.
Both The Flood and Savage Kingdom were shot in Botswana with our production partner, The Natural History Film Unit. The Flood in particular focuses on the fascinating ecosystem provided by the Okavango Delta, which also acts as the setting for the upcoming Hippos: Africa’s River Giants for BBC Two.
The winners of the Emmy Awards will be announced on the 15th September 2019; we are eagerly looking forward to the results and are very proud to be included in such a strong category.
