Malawi Wildlife Rescue’ is a 6 x 60 observational documentary series following the work of American veterinarian, Dr Amanda Salb, and her colleagues at the country’s only wildlife rescue centre.
In Season 2, Australian, Torie Curr Smith, has taken over as Head of Animal Care. This year the team have seen an influx of pangolins who have all suffered at the hands of wildlife traffickers.
Amanda is one of only a handful of vets in Malawi authorised to dart and capture big game, so her services are always in demand. Throughout the series we see her being called out to help animals in the Bush. Amanda’s field work always provides plenty of drama.
