I’ve been working in factual television production for over 20 years, originally at Café Productions, then Alliance Atlantis before joining Icon Films in 2008. Beginning as a Production Coordinator my roles changed from production to Development Manager to Business Affairs Manager before working as a Television Production and Finance Consultant.
I joined the Senior Management Team at Icon Films as part of an ambitious and ultimately successful business plan to quadruple the business within 10 years. As Commercial Director I am responsible for growing revenue streams and profitability across existing and new platforms. My role sees me forging and managing relationships with co-production and joint venture partners, securing pre-sales and working with distribution partners in the US, Europe and beyond.
I can thoroughly recommend the move from London to Bristol. We made the jump when our first child was born and we’ve never looked back. Living and working in Bristol has enabled me to strike the elusive work-life-balance. Cycling to work, regular pilates and competing on the netball court alongside my daughter keep me fit active and happy. And let’s not forget the compulsory annual ski trip.
